Online Seminar: Applications for Carbon Leakage or Electricity Price Compensation
Using the Qualified Electronic Signature
The German Emissions Trading Authority (Deutsche Emissionshandelsstelle, DEHSt) of the German Environment Agency consistently relies on online communication to fulfil its tasks. To ensure the necessary legal certainty, this requires the mandatory use of a qualified electronic signature in many places.
In this online seminar, we take a look at the procedures for the Carbon Leakage Regulation and electricity price compensation. The online applications for national and European emissions trading, which have been in existence for years, will be highlighted as well. Our experts will explain the requirements of the applications and show how the qualified electronic signature (QES) is used here. This is not just about use of the QES by applicants, as the organisations concerned and the auditors involved also need to apply the QES.
Together with the consulting organisation En-Concept Energy Consultancy GmbH, D-Trust, as the trust service provider of the Bundesdruckerei Group, will present the possible uses of electronic signatures in communication with the DEHSt.
